Easee RFID key - Box of 10

The Easee Key is used for authorisation when charging on restricted Easee Charging Robots. It’s based on RFID technology and has a unique code which is linked to your Easee profile. This code is called a Key-number and is found on the backside of the Easee Key tag.

Do I need it?
Not necessarily – only if the charging system is set up with authorisation. Then you will have to beep the key tag on the charger in order to start charging.

Can I use other types of RFID-keys?
Yes, the Charging Robot supports a large variety of different cards and tags if they are based on RFID technology. So feel free to use your credit card, workplace key card etc. Simply add them to your profile using the Easee Charge Portal or Easee App. If your preferred RFID card does not have a visible key number, you can use the Charging Robot itself to read and load the key number into your profile.
